Hi, I’m Holly Tunison, a UX/UI Designer and Web developer.

About Me

My design journey began after earning my B.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado Denver in 2020. While working as a hairstylist, I discovered a passion for web design, which led me to transition into the tech industry. A pivotal moment at a UX meetup in Boulder deepened my interest in UX design, prompting me to enroll in a UX intro class at Boulder Digital Arts and complete a 12-month UX design and web development boot camp with CareerFoundry.

Professional Experience

Since then, I’ve embraced roles as a UX/UI Designer, UX Researcher, Web Designer, and Developer, gaining valuable experience through freelance work and a contract position with First Citizens Bank. I contribute to innovative projects at Bluewebshop, a web design and marketing agency, where I design responsive websites and enhance user experiences.

Skills and Expertise

I’m pursuing an M.S. in User Experience Design from Arizona State University, specializing in research, accessibility, prototyping, usability testing, design thinking, and interaction design. My technical expertise includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Git, and more, which enables me to effectively bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring seamless project implementation.
